You’re in charge of the last free folks on the Ursee, and it’s up to you to build a new home. You’ll be carving out your place on a crazy world, tower by tower and wall by wall, dealing with cliffs and rough waters that just won’t be tamed.
Design awesome ocean fortress settlements and grow your populations to unlock new stuff like commanders, ships, and units. It’s all about progress through the factions’ Soultrees.
In Bulwark, you’ll explore the Great Ursee, scavenging for resources, setting up trade routes, and making deals or battling with other factions. Balance your diplomacy and conflict to expand your settlement.
For a chill experience, try the ‘Freebuild Mode’. It’s a no-pressure zone where you can build and experiment without worrying about resources or challenges.
But if you’re up for a real challenge, jump into Total Conquest. You start off at war with every faction, no diplomacy allowed, and raids happen all the time. Building won’t be enough—you’ll need to survive and fight!
Forget about tracking wood, stone, or iron. In this game distance is what matters. You’ll move resources along your towers and trade routes over the sea. Towers and walls within range of the resources can be upgraded for free, but those out of range can’t.
Splinters are used for diplomacy building armies and buying new stuff. You get them through population growth, trading, or winning battles.
The game pushes you to design and expand epic fortresses often without a huge resource cost if you set up good trade routes. Invite populations from other factions to unlock cool content from their Soultree. But be careful—everyone hates each other on the Ursee, so you might end up in war or find new allies that join your empire. So It is a sandbox builder with serious consequences.
