As Emi levels up, she gets stronger and can access new areas that were previously off-limits. Her hacking skills are super important for solving cool minigames that give a nod to the classic Atari 2600 game, Yars’ Revenge.
As you dig deeper into QoTech’s secrets the sci-fi mystery just keeps expanding. So Emi’s got a whole crew of hacker friends who help her find out her connection to a distant alien race and unlock some crazy powers she never imagined.
Throughout the game, Emi has to jump, blast, and sneak past waves of robots and aliens. As she progresses her powers get wild, letting her access new areas and explore even more. So The game’s huge interconnected map means there’s tons to discover.
From boring office buildings to hidden underground labs and even to outer space Emi uncovers the dark truth behind QoTech and her own alien connection. There are also some sweet hacking minigames that pay tribute to the original Yars’ Revenge, which fans really dig for its fast-paced gameplay.
Sometimes Emi can’t just shoot or jump her way out of trouble – she’ll need to use stealth to hide from relentless security guards. With amazing 3D environments and a bunch of interesting characters, WayForward brings Emi’s story to life in their signature style.
