SUMMARY OF WITCHFIRE
Witchfire is an intense single player RPG shooter made by the geniuses behind Painkiller and Bulletstorm. In this game you dive into dangerous missions battling enemies to power up your abilities and gear. You’ll scavenge important loot, head back to your safe base, or, if you’re feeling brave, take on Familiars—these are the super-tough guardians protecting the witch.
To beat the Witch of the Black Sea and her witchfire powered army you will need serious skills and strategy. If you die, don’t sweat it—you get one shot to grab your stuff back. If that fails, come up with a better plan and jump back in.
The game is packed with huge, detailed biomes where you get to pick where to take on the witch’s forces. Each fight you win makes you and your weapons stronger, thanks to a roguelite system called Arcana. With so many ways to upgrade your preyer (yep, that’s what you are), you can dominate the battlefield in your style.
Only the worst sinners become preyers—undead hunters kept alive by witchfire in their veins. In your base, called the Hermitory, you get to customize your preyer with unique weapons, spells, and artifacts to make them unstoppable.
Every mission gives you a choice take your loot and run or stick around and face the Familiar for even bigger rewards like unlocking new areas and grabbing epic upgrades.
