SUMMARY OF WARTALES THE SKELMAR INVASION
Jump into the world of Ormance, a once-safe county now overrun by the biggest invasion it’s ever seen. The Skelmars, led by the brutal High Jarl Sven (who’s been chosen by the Gods), have teamed up for the first time to invade Edoran. They are after the riches and fertile land, and they are not holding back. This crazy alliance of clans has destroyed everything in their path spreading chaos and ruin wherever they go.
The county’s last stronghold has fallen, and its defenders are scattered. It’s up to you to rescue the Countess, rally the remaining forces, and take back each barony from the Skelmar horde. It is your chance to be in the heart of a brutal battle to save Ormance and protect Edoran from total destruction. Are you tough enough to take back the land.
You’ll have to reclaim Ormance one barony at a time. Every area you come across is a mess, ruined by war and controlled by the Skelmars. They’ve taken over and fortified every stronghold and landmark, while other places are in total ruins. You can’t use these areas until you drive the invaders out and bring them back to life.
To free each barony, you need to take out the stronghold at its center. Once it falls, the land comes back to life, and local allies will join your cause. You will also be able to rebuild destroyed locations with materials restoring them and boosting your war effort. But as long as the stronghold is still under Skelmar control, the barony will stay occupied.
