SUMMARY OF UNCLE CHOPS ROCKET SHOP
Alright, so you play as Wilbur, a mechanic stuck on an asteroid station in a pretty lonely part of space. His life’s pretty tough, mostly spent fixing up broken-down ships just to make enough cash to pay his ever-growing R.E.N.T to his weird boss, Uncle Chop. While everyone else around him is off doing crazy things like worshipping space gods, feeding a sentient black hole, or hunting down some mythical treasure, Wilbur just wants to keep it simple, fixing ships and surviving.
You’ll be fixing stuff with all kinds of tools, parts, and devices as you work on different spaceship modules. Whether it’s just refueling or doing full-on repairs, you’ll be racing against the clock to complete as many jobs as you can every day. The ships are randomly generated, so you’ll be getting into all kinds of messes in some pretty bizarre places, and trust me, your hands will get dirty.
As you progress, you’ll need to read stuff too. You all use manuals and diagrams to help you figure out whats wrong with the ships and how to fix them. If reading isn’t your thing, don’t worry—you can always just look at the pretty pictures. But if you’re serious about this mechanic life, you’ll need to upgrade stuff too. With the money you earn, you can expand your workshop and get new workstations to handle bigger and more valuable jobs. Plus you all meet tons of weird characters and dive into a story full of twists and multiple endings depending on who you choose to help. The more you play, the more you’ll discover—secret upgrades, hidden lore, and random events will keep things fresh every time. And hey, even though the R.E.N.T is tough to pay, some upgrades stick around between playthroughs, making your next round a little bit easier
