There are over 10 different combat types, each with its own style. For example, you’ll have to dodge close attacks by moving in the right direction or time your moves perfectly to fend off headfirst attacks. The fights get more complicated as you go, so you’ll need to master a bunch of different moves. The game has two types of encounters—bosses and mini-bosses. Mini-bosses trap you in a room, giving you just a little time to heal before they attack again. Bosses are tougher and let you run around between rooms to heal and weaken them using point-and-click stuff.
You’re gonna take hits, but you can heal up by finding a safe spot and waiting for your stamina to recharge. It is all about staying alive and ready for the next fight.
