In this game, all 21 stages of the 2021 Tour de France are faithfully recreated, and it’s got a ton of new features. For starters the redesigned My Tour mode gives you more customization options, allowing you to adjust things like rest days stages and teams. The peloton is behavior is more realistic now and there is a revamped objective system to make things more interesting. Plus there is a new recovery mechanic that adds a whole new layer to the strategy.
You can either play as your own rider or manage your team. In Pro Team mode, you lead a team from the bottom up, working to prove your squad’s worth and get invited to major races. If you choose Pro Leader mode, you create and level up your own rider to compete with cycling legends like Primoz Roglic and Tadej Pogacar. You can pick from four profiles: climber, sprinter, puncher, or versatile. Each one will affect your chances to win a Grand Tour or specialize in the Classics.
My Tour mode has been completely revamped, giving you way more freedom. The new interface makes it super easy to customize your race, whether you want to change the teams or pick from 89 stages to create your perfect Tour. You can also enjoy a ton of official content, like the 19 World Tour teams, as well as other teams like Alpecin-Fenix, B&B Hotels P/B KTM, and more. Official races like the Tour de France 2021 Paris Nice Paris Roubaix and Liège Bastogne Liège are all included alongside a bunch of unofficial races too.
