The Axis Unseen is a crazy heavy metal horror game made by one of the developers behind Skyrim and Fallout. In this game you will be hunting down terrifying monsters from ancient legends in a mysterious open world. As you take these creatures down you will unlock their sense powers and discover elemental arrows that can help you on your journey. But here’s the twist—while you’re hunting them, you’re being hunted too, so be careful!
So the game is all about immersion and discovery. Most of the game’s interface is right there in your hands—literally. You’ll have to check your quiver to see how many arrows you have, and tattoos on your hand will show your health and active powers. The creatures track you with sight sound and smell and each one has its own weaknesses it is up to you to figure out how to defeat them.
Now the game has been getting great reviews. TechRaptor called it “a knockout indie entry in gaming,” and Shacknews said it’s something special, with “dragons” to find if you play it right. The Escapist even compared it to Skyrim, but stripped back and with a fresh twist.
