It’s Earth, 1976, and the Cold War is in full swing. You been assigned to lead a deep sea research facility where your team is working on perfecting human cloning. The catch You are in the abyss of the ocean and survival is tough. You’ll have to manage everything—oxygen, power, food—and keep your crew alive while exploring the dark, mysterious ocean floor. As you mine resources for construction and light your way you all expand your base and push forward with your research. But be careful beneath the waves, unexpected horrors are lurking, and the only thing standing between you and them is the light.
You will be in charge of a team of scientists conducting genetic experiments on the bizarre wildlife of the ocean floor. To survive you will need to carefully plan and build essential infrastructure like manufacturing research, and life support systems. You’ll expand and optimize your base, making sure to connect everything—mining facilities, research labs, and life support systems—efficiently with tunnels and powerlines. The ocean floor is uneven so clever planning and vertical construction will be key to conquering the landscape.
As you expand you will also need to build light pylons to push back the endless darkness. But it’s not just about building close to your base—you’ll need to send out exploration submarines and set up outposts to secure resources in distant, dangerous areas. Power, life support, and light are crucial, so you’ll have to make sure they never fail, or disaster will strike.
