Imagine surviving in the wild, harsh lands of northern Hispania in the 1st century BC. You’ll step into the boots of a Roman legionnaire in Summa Expeditionis, a survival, base-building, and strategy game. Your mission is to travel to the farthest corner of the Roman Empire, set up a fortified camp, and survive long enough to take control of the local barbarian tribes.
First you Will need to explore the unknown lands and uncover all the secrets hiding in this new, uncharted territory. It’s the last frontier of the Empire, so there’s a lot to discover. But, survival comes next. You Will have to find food gather resources and hunt local wildlife to stay alive. It wont be easy but you’ll need to make use of everything around you to craft tools weapons and all kinds of supplies that will help you build a thriving camp.
As you progress, you’ll need to construct your camp from the ground up. What starts as a basic bonfire will eventually grow into a full Roman fortification, complete with walls, watchtowers, and all the supplies a legion needs. But it’s not just about building; you’ll also need to manage your soldiers and slaves. Organize work shifts, assign guards, and keep an eye on everyone’s morale to avoid any trouble. Meanwhile you Will hunt down and take on the barbarian Cantabri tribes. Some will be enslaved, others executed, as you grow your power in the name of Rome.
