The Songs of Conquest just got even cooler with the release of its first new faction from the icy shores of the Bleak East. Get ready to take control of the powerful Vanir raiders and watch them transform into the fierce Vildra. You will battle through the snow on five epic Conquest maps leading mighty Wielders like the shapeshifting Gorm Aelgrim or the stubborn Jarn Steadfast, who stood his ground and refused to Change.
This DLC has awesome feature to create your gameplay even more exciting. First off there is a brand-new icy biome filled with snow, ruins, and hidden treasures waiting to be explored. Plus you will have eight new troops with special abilities, many of which change completely—both in looks and gameplay—when upgraded. On top of that, nine unique Wielders are blending new skills with some familiar ones. You also get access to cool towns and settlements with fresh buildings and gameplay mechanics tied to the Essence of Destruction Arcana and Chaos.
If you’re into strategy, you’ll love the new Conquest maps that highlight the Vanir biome. There are five in total, including two small, two medium, and one huge map, where you’ll defend against the houses of Barya, raid the shores of Arleon, or brave the Marshes of the Rana. For an extra challenge, you can test your skills on two special Challenge maps. Guide Sorg, a lost Troll searching for home, or stand strong as Jarn Steadfast, resisting the corruption of the Vildra.
