SUMMARY OF OVER THROWN
In Overthrown, you play as a Monarch with an ancient, soul-stealing crown that gives you crazy magical powers. With this crown, you’ll build a kingdom in the middle of a dangerous wilderness and defend it from all kinds of mutants and bandits that roam the land. You’ll gather resources, farm, and do whatever it takes to turn your small settlement into a mighty, self-sustaining kingdom. As you get more famous, more people will come to join you, but so will those who want to overthrow you—this includes your friends if you’re playing in up to six-player co-op.
BUILD ANYWHERE and make your kingdom your own! You can start from scratch and decide where everything goes. You can place buildings however you like and even move them around later if you don’t like where they are. Once your kingdom starts growing, you can automate everything, making life easier.
With your crown’s power, you can LIFT ANYTHING. Need some wood? Just pick up whole trees and throw them at your sawmill to make planks. Or if you’re in a rush, you can carry the sawmill around and collect trees while running through the forest. If you’ve got enemies nearby, you can even grab monster nests and place them near bandit camps to have them fight each other, giving you a chance to grab some free loot. And if that wasn’t enough, you can FIGHT LIKE AN ANIME PROTAGONIST. Need to save villagers from mutants. Run across a lake at lightning speed to rescue them. Or if you’re being shot at by outlaws, just do a spin attack so fast that you fly through the air and crash down on them like a helicopter.
