So, here’s the scoop: Notari always knew she might get separated from her best friend someday, but she wasn’t ready for how it actually went down. Did the Institute grab Miroita? Was it the military or the Federation? Honestly, it doesn’t even matter anymore—Notari just knows everyone needs to pay. She is out there fighting with everything she’s got.
Luciolla, the AI created by Miroita, is the only one sticking by Notari’s side now. Luciolla keeps saying, “Miroita lives,” and that thought keeps pushing Notari forward. Every day that idea grows stronger giving her a reason to live each day fully knowing that someone is waiting for her. She can not abandon Miroita. She can not let her down. Notari’s fighting on step by step believing she will find her again one day. And then—bam!—the other FEATHER shows up. But… that’s a whole different story. Enter Mirage Feathers, an anime-themed pseudo-3D rail shooter where you step into Notari’s shoes. You’re a cybernetic air-superiority fighter from the Federation’s FEATHER program. Now Get ready for high-speed combat as you blast through waves of enemy aircraft. Even though the world seems to be against you, don’t worry—your ammo is infinite. So just keep fighting and show everyone who’s boss. Notari’s advanced fire control system automatically locks onto targets when they cross your crosshair making your attacks home in on them.
As you progress through the game, your AI companion Luciolla will pick up weapon specs from tougher enemies, giving Notari new main weapon options with different effects and playstyles. Plus you can unleash insane power with OVERDRIVE mode turning you into a one-person wrecking crew with upgraded weapon performance and buffed attacks.
Story Mode and Endless Mode. Story Mode features scripted levels with text-based dialogues and cute character art letting you dive into the characters lives beyond the battles. Endless Mode, on the other hand, lets you access the full arsenal and face endless waves of increasingly tough enemies that spawn randomly. Think the game is too hard? No worries—um… Oh, sorry, that’s classified.
In the game, you’ll meet various characters: one of the two FEATHERs from the Institute, who’s outgoing, hot-tempered, and fiercely independent—always sticking close to Miroita. Then there’s Miroita, Notari’s best friend, who’s calm, obedient, and reserved. Despite needing Notari’s support to boost her confidence, she’s a match for Notari’s skills.
Also, you’ve got Luciolla, Notari’s AI companion with a distinct personality, skilled in intelligence gathering and planning. She is like a real friend making sure you never feel alone. Finally there is the leader of the Institute the creator of both Notari and Miroita. Even though she was tough on them, she cared deeply.
If you start feeling motion sickness during gameplay, just adjust the settings in the Options menu. The game supports both controller and mouse + keyboard, and you can enable mouse settings in the Options menu too.
