Meanwhile, you will go up against rival species and ancient races that think they are the galaxy is true rulers. Fight off major threats that try to mess with progress and earn prestige by protecting the galaxy from those who want to wreck it.
Additionally shape galactic politics by striking trade deals and forming alliances. So Each species has its own leaders with unique personalities and traditions that affect their decisions. You can either guide or manipulate weaker civilizations to turn them into allies or weapons.
On top of that you can run a shadow empire using your spy network to sabotage fleets, bomb infrastructure steal tech and stir up rebellions to create the perfect political climate. Design your starships and dive into pausable real-time combat, from tiny frigates to massive planet-killers. Upgrade your ships with beams fighters missiles and more to take down your enemies.
Finally, choose from 10 different species each with their own traits and behaviors. Use diplomacy, espionage, real-time combat, and research to chart a course for your civilization or join one of the ancient races fighting for control.
