Welcome to the Liminal Layer Society, where you join a squad of spellcasters who keep the world safe from creepy stuff leaking out of the Void. Your mission? Dive into the “Liminal Layer,” which is like this weird zone between real life and the Void. But heads up: you’re gonna die a lot. Seriously, death is just part of the game and gets you closer to taking down the Void Gods, who are your main targets.
So, you can pick from four different characters, each with their own style and magic. As you play, you’ll unlock different endings depending on who you choose and who tags along with you. Expect things to get super dark, chaotic, and confusing.
Oh, and by the way, this game isn’t for people with epilepsy—there are tons of flashing lights and effects. We’re working on a safer mode, but for now, you’ve been warned.
You’ll need “Sigils” to battle the Void Gods and keep enemies at bay. Sigils are like the currency for your spells and for moving to the next layer without getting wrecked. Your survival depends on your “Death Counter” and making sure those liminal creatures don’t touch you. When you die, you just get sent to the next random layer, but you lose out on collecting more Sigils.
Liminal Entities are dangerous and will kill you if they touch you. However, they drop souls that you can use to cast more spells. Grab them to beef up your spell arsenal and extend your death counter, giving you more time to find sigils.
Over 20 different liminal entities, each with their own stats and spells. Guitar-heavy ambient sounds and extreme metal tracks to set the mood. So, get ready for a wild ride!.
