Gift Collector [ギフトコレクター] is this super cool New Year’s horror game that puts you right in the action with a first-person perspective and a Japanese walking simulator vibe.
The story starts every winter when you get flooded with letters from kids hoping for miracles. Some of their stories are heartwarming, while others are just plain wild, but your job is the same: make every single wish come true. On New Year is Eve dreams become reality no matter how kids behaved all year. Whether they were on Santa is nice list or… well not-so-nice everyone gets their gift.
Here’s the deal: you play as Santa Claus himself. Your mission is to gather gifts based on the kids’ wishes and deliver them all on New Year’s Eve. Sounds easy right Not so fast. You’ve got to move super quick and super quiet—wake someone up, and you’re in trouble. The game is stylized graphics and crazy immersive 3D sound pull you right into the action making it feel like you’re really there. It is a walking simulator so you will be exploring a lot.

- The visuals are styled like they’re shot on an old-school camera, which is pretty creepy and awesome.
