Alright, so here’s the deal: Get To Work is like a wild ride through the corporate world, but with rollerblades. Yup, you heard that right—rollerblades. You play as a dude who’s out to dominate the corporate world, but instead of a suit and tie, he’s got rollerblades strapped to his arms and feet. And let me tell you this guy only knows how to move fast.
With Connor ‘CDawgVA‘ Colquhoun hyping you up along the way, you’ll have to dodge huge gaps, ramps, jumps, and all kinds of crazy obstacles that are trying to knock you down. Sure rollerblades might seem goofy at first but trust me it is all part of the fun.
The game is all about getting through these tough challenges, but don’t worry, there’s comedy… kinda. It’s a satirical story about surviving in today’s crazy economy. You might laugh, but there’s also a lot of “wait, is this real?” going on.
The movement system, called Shmooovement, is tough but super satisfying. The faster you go, the better you’ll do. Plus, you can collect audio clips from a self-help podcast called The Grindset, featuring streamers like Atrioc Ludwig DougDoug PointCrow and more.
If you’re into speedruns, you’re in luck! There’s a built-in timer, so you don’t have to mess with tracking your splits manually. And if you’re just totally over it, there’s a “Give Up” button. No kidding, you can just quit anytime—unlike your regular 9-5 job.
