SUMMARY OF FRAN BOW REMASTERED
Alright, so Fran Bow is this super creepy adventure game about a girl named Fran who’s dealing with some serious mental issues and a pretty messed-up fate. After her parents are found totally gruesome and cut up at home Fran freaks out and runs into the woods with her only buddy Mr. Midnight a black cat her parents gave her.
Now, here’s the twist: Fran ends up in this creepy mental asylum for kids called Oswald Asylum, and Mr. Midnight is gone. After dreaming about her cat, Fran decides she needs to break out of the asylum to find him and get back to her Aunt Grace, who’s her only family left.
So the game is all about creepy psychological horror and adventure. It’s got this really cool, weird hand-drawn 2D art style and animation. You’ll need to take medicine to see a messed-up hidden world that helps you solve puzzles and find stuff.
There are tons of puzzles, some easy and some really hard all tied to the story. Plus, there are three mini-games that are totally different in style and fit into the story transitions. So Mr. Midnight is interactive so you can play with him at times and there are more than 50 other characters each with their own unique quirks. Oh, and the soundtrack is original too!
