In Flowstone Saga, you can choose real-time combat or switch it up with optional turn-based action, facing off against up to three monsters at once. While the monsters make their moves automatically, you control the battle using Mirai on the puzzle board. By clearing lines you can deal damage to monsters with a basic attack. You’ll have to match Link Crystals to build up Heat and boost your damage, clear Orbs to heal or trigger special attacks, use the Flask to throw powerful items onto the board, and defend yourself from crazy monsters. Plus you will unlock Powers that let you infuse the board with elemental magic think Fire Ice and Lightning. Sturdy Jade Beetles that send Armor Tiles onto the board to protect themselves until those tiles are cleared.Weepy Bawliflowers who heal their big bro, Brawliflower, but if the healer gets knocked out, he gets super mad! Stalwart Axolittles who deal damage and can chop tiles off the board, messing up your plans. Aggressive Floracondas that toss thorny shields onto the board, which hurt you if you clear them.
The mighty TumTum Frog that eats your biggest attacks and spits them back! But while he’s full, you can deal extra damage! Pirate Captain Borras who smashes holes in the board, making it hard to clear lines in those spots! Pesky Bone Crabs that snap at you, making it tough to rotate pieces for a bit.
