SUMMARY OF FACTORIO: SPACE AGE
Factorio: Space Age takes the gameplay of Factori to the next level letting you explore new planets after you’ve launched rockets into space as you discover new worlds you will face different challenges gather unique resources and advance your technology. The game introduces space platforms which are like flying factories that move cargo between planets you will need to defend these platforms from incoming asteroids catch asteroid chunks and turn them into useful fuel and ammo for your turrets.
Each planet you visit has its own set of challenges and resources. For example, on Vulcanus, a planet full of volcanic mountains and sulfuric fog, you’ll mine tough tungsten and extract molten iron and copper from lava to fuel your industrial needs. Meanwhile Fulgora is a frozen wasteland where you will have to protect yourself from lightning storms, while also scavenging high-tech ruins to unlock new technologies. Then there isGleba a colorful swamp where you can grow crops harvest exotic plants and explore biochemical engineering. Lastly Aquilo is a planet covered in ice where you will need to build heat pipes and cryogenic technologies to survive the freezing temperatures.
Along with all these new planets the game also introduces new mechanics like elevated rails for your trains and a quality system for crafting better items and equipment. You will be able to research and improve the quality of your machines making them faster and more efficient. Plus new enemies will appear on these planets, so you will need to strengthen your defenses the soundtrack composed by Petr Wajsar adds to the atmosphere with unique music for each planet making your journey through space even more immersive.
