“Evil Holiday” isn’t just some regular indie horror game. Oh no, it cranks up the terror to the max. You’ll remember every terrifying moment, even if you’ve played a ton of horror games before. The developer even said they almost lost their mind trying to turn a typical American family story into a game – that’s how messed up the horror is. It’s not just scary, it’s creepy, and it’ll haunt you like a bad dream.
The game takes about 40 minutes to finish, but trust me, it’ll feel a lot longer when you’re freaking out. The whole thing takes place in George’s parents‘ creepy house in the countryside, with a little snowy street thrown in. And sometimes, you’ll even dive into the past to find out why all the crazy stuff is happening now the game slowly builds up that sense of fear.
At first, George’s excited for the holidays, but before long, he’s stuck in his own personal nightmare that he can’t escape. You’re gonna be screaming in terror, and I swear, after playing this game, you’ll be wide awake in the middle of the night thinking about it.
After you finish the game, you might find yourself wanting to call your parents, just to make sure they’re okay. The game creates a seriously creepy detailed atmosphere that will have you on edge the entire time. You’ll get sucked in – at first, you’ll enjoy the holiday vibes, but soon, you’ll be thrown into pure horror.
