SUMMARY OF ESCAPE FROM TARKOV
Escape from Tarkov takes place in an alternate version of modern Russia, where two huge military corporations are clashing in the city of Tarkov, causing total chaos. This hardcore shooter lets you pick a side in the fight and try to survive in the middle of all the destruction, dodging enemy bullets and dealing with dangerous levels of radiation. As you play your character learns over 100 skills takes on different story quests, and uncovers the secrets of the town all while trying to escape and save themselves.
You’re dropped into Russia in 2028, in a fictional city located in the Norvinsk region. Tarkov used to be a place for economic cooperation between the EU and Russia, but now it’s cut off from the rest of the world by the UN and the Russian military, all because of a political crisis sparked by the national company, Terragroup. There is a huge battle going on between two groups USEC which defends the corporation, and BEAR, a state group that fights for the country is interests. The main character is a former mercenary trying to escape this warzone the game offers a story campaign with different scenarios plus a multiplayer mode if you prefer playing with others.
As you progress in Escape from Tarkov you will complete various tasks including quests given by traders these help you learn more about the local economy and how everything works. The game is super realistic with detailed combat physics weapon ballistics and even a day-night cycle. Your character is also affected by injury illness and hunger which can impact their performance. You’ll be raiding different locations like residential areas, a chemical plant, air defense bases, and the city center all while discovering hidden places like caches, abandoned laboratories, secret enemy offices and underground warehouses. It is a tough gritty world where survival is key.
