On your farm, you’ll grow crops, rescue, tame, and even breed animals, all while keeping the curse at bay. Venturing into the woods means searching for cursed objects and surviving long enough to break the curse. But fair warning—the woods are full of danger.
The forest is split into three terrifying layers each with its own creepy biome. You’ll find underground crypts and thick, foggy woodlands that are always dark. Ghosts and other paranormal beings stalk you relentlessly, and sometimes the woods themselves seem to change. Be careful, because once you see something strange, it might already be too late.
Your farm serves as your safe haven or at least the closest thing to safety. It’s one of the only places where sunlight can reach, but once night falls, nowhere is truly safe. Farming is your main way to gather resources but there is so much more to do. Capture and breed animals, craft weapons, set up surveillance cameras, and floodlights, and use energy detectors to survive the night. It is a race to prepare before darkness falls.
Teamwork is key the woods constantly change, so staying connected with friends is essential. Use your farm’s surveillance system to guide friends through the woods help them find points of interest and warn them of lurking threats. Communication can be the difference between survival and disaster.
Time is another factor you can’t ignore. Keep track of the hours with your wristwatch because strange events might only happen at specific times, both inside and outside the woods. As you descend deeper your sanity will be tested. Losing your mind in the woods can make you see terrifying illusions, but surprisingly, it might have its perks—paranormal beings might ignore you, letting you explore even further.
