Daemonologie is a creepy folk horror game set in a Scottish village during the witch trials of the 1600s You play as a witch hunter sent to the village to find and deal with a witch hiding among the locals Your job is to talk to the villagers and figure out who lying and who telling the truth If they wont talk though you got permission to use whatever methods you think will get them to speak.
Each day, after you’ve finished your work, you’ll experience these strange, stop-motion nightmares that seem to have some sort of prophetic meaning. They might not make a lot of sense at first but if you pay close attention they might reveal hidden clues that help with your investigation. So it is important to stay sharp.
The game doesn’t hold your hand, and you’ll have to make your own choices. There’s no one guiding you, so it’s up to you to take notes and keep track of everything. Every decision you make impacts the story so you will need to think carefully about what you do It all about piecing things together on your own and seeing where your choices take you.
