Set in the summer of 1984, The Story is about Alfred, a guy in a wheelchair stuck in an asylum full of mutants that can hear every little sound. Your squeaky wheelchair is your only way out, but it gets noisier the more you use it. Time’s not on your side—can you save Alfred?
In Before They Wake, you get a short, creepy third-person horror game set in the ’80s. You will face off against nightmarish mutants hiding in the dark. You need to get Alfred out of the asylum and stay as quiet as possible, or time will work against you!
Furthermore, this 3D third-person horror game takes place in a spooky version of St. Annes Town Of The Gifted. The wheelchair moves semi-realistically, but it’s super noisy and can give you away. Plus, there’s an audiometer that tracks all the noise you make—so be careful not to fill it up. Finally the game has this VHS-style look that’s both nostalgic and terrifying.
