SUMMARY OF ARCANEOUTPOST
This game is a mix of strategy tower defense and MOBA elements that will put your skills to the test you play as a wise mage a guardian with some serious arcane powers. Your mission Build arcane outposts to protect the dangerous uninhabited lands and purify the region using the powerful Arcane Core.
To succeed you will need to balance your resources between building production and defense while also deciding how to upgrade your structures and unlock cool enhancement abilities. During battles you will control guardians with four unique skills each with different modes that let you adapt to any challenge. The game is divided into two phases a prep phase for planning your moves and a combat phase to face waves of enemies. This way you won not have to stress about attacks while upgrading or building structures.
For those craving a tougher challenge you can add mutation factors that power up enemies and weaken your abilities letting you aim for even higher scores. The game is current map design is pretty straightforward but if you are up for a real test there is plenty to push your limits. Found a bug or have ideas. Right now during the Early Access (EA) phase the game includes 3 maps 3 heroes with 11 skill variants each 5 turret and barracks branches 24 enhancement options dozens of enemy types and 3 bosses with insane mechanics. The full version expected 3 4 months after EA will double the maps heroes turret branches and enemies while adding even more bosses and enhancement options. All new content will gradually roll out to the EA version so keep an eye out for updates.
This indie game was built by just two developers using Unreal Engine 5. While the budget limited some features (like online multiplayer and polished 3D assets) the devs are working hard to bring you the best experience possible.
