SUMMARY OF AQUARIST JAPANESE GARDEN
Aquarist just dropped out of Early Access, but we’re still adding tons of cool new stuff to the game. The Japanese Garden DLC is the first big update, and it’s packed with new content that’ll make your aquarium empire even bigger.
In this DLC, you get to unlock a brand new location— the Japanese Garden. Its a huge spot where you can expand your aquarium empire and turn a rundown garden into something beautiful.
There are 18 new fish to collect, mostly Japanese-themed like pond carps (Tancho Koi, Kohaku Koi, and more), Ryukin goldfish, Pearlscale, and others. Plus you get 20 new Japanese style decorations to make your garden look epic.
The new location is massive and you will be able to fix up a neglected Japanese garden and bring it back to life. There are new plants and decorations that float on the water’s surface, and a cool tunnel where you can set up 4 large aquariums for visitors to admire. Ther even a hidden spot where you will unlock a special reward by discovering Buddha’s secrets.
Also, you get a new Patio where you can set up your first small open tank early in the game, and then improve it as you go.
To really make the garden awesome, you’ll need to clean up the place, fix broken stuff, gather materials, and build classic Japanese park features like a bridge, a pagoda, and a shelter. You’ll have 5 different ponds of all shapes and sizes to decorate and fill with fish. The goal is to make everything look amazing to attract visitors earn more cash and make your fish happy. The best part? You can decorate however you want— the only limit is your creativity!
